Every deal has a moment where the champion is sold and the paperwork takes over. Someone in security opens a questionnaire, and a rollout that everyone wants waits on answers.
We’ve been on both sides of that moment. We built AnyTeam knowing that the conversations it supports are some of the most sensitive a company has: pricing, forecasts, and what a customer is planning next quarter.
So we’re glad to share that AnyTeam has completed its SOC 2 Type II audit.
What the auditor looked at
Over the period 26 May to 26 August 2026, Advantage Partners, an independent auditor based in Seattle, tested how AnyTeam runs day to day against the AICPA’s trust services criteria relevant to security. The audit covered:
- who can access our systems, and how that access is reviewed
- how customer data is stored and backed up
- how code changes are approved before they ship
- how we monitor our infrastructure
- how we’d respond if something went wrong
The opinion came back unqualified, with no exceptions noted.
A Type II report covers a stretch of time rather than a single date, so it reflects the habits we keep week after week, not how things looked on the morning of an inspection.
What this means for your rollout
If you’re a sales leader bringing AnyTeam to your team, the report makes security review shorter. Your IT and security teams get independent evidence they can read on their own schedule. Many of the questions on a standard security questionnaire are answered inside it.
How we treat what your reps share with AnyTeam
Meeting notes, CRM records and account history are what help a rep walk into the next call prepared. We treat them as your company’s information.
- Your data is isolated to your workspace. It sits in encrypted, per-workspace volumes, with encryption keys per workspace and no shared keys across tenants.
- We don’t train on it. Your transcripts, prompts and outputs are not used to train AnyTeam’s models or any third party’s. Our contracts with model providers explicitly opt out of training on inputs and outputs.
- Backups are encrypted too, with access restricted to key personnel — one of the controls the auditor tested.
